Tea Cup And Tea Tin Planters

I found this idea on pinterest, originally posted by www.thecottagemarket.com and they had some pretty cool ideas for upcycling teacups. I have a few with cracks I may try this with and thought I would share the idea with all of you.
I have been hanging onto this Sloane Tea tin for about a year now and today I had a chance to plant a little flower for my outdoor table on it. I am pleased with how it turned out.
I hope that you will have fun re using tea tins for planters for your outdoor tables too!

Thank you for joining me for a cup of tea and a cozy mystery today.
The table is set and ready for tea,
I would love to hear from you so please leave me a comment here or email me at karenmowen@gmail.com

  1. Such adorable ideas. And the flower you planted is beautiful. I didn't know it was real at first. I thought it was made of paper. What kind is it?

    1. I believe they are called Primrose. They come out here in January and last until well into spring. They come back year after year as well!
