Saturday morning as I write this, usually I do this before I go to bed but I was out last night for the Angry Birds movie for my son's birthday party, it was good to laugh and a great time had by all, we were home after 10pm and well I was to tired to think so I hope you do not mind the slight lateness in my posting. This morning I am delighted to wake up to find that I have Kathi Daley's new Kitten Kabbodle on my table to share. I now have my weekend reading set, with my mail man away this week I got zero mail! I hope he is back Monday!
I have had some really fabulous books on my table this week and was able to review a few to share with you this week and coming up shortly. A first in a new series by Laura Bradford was nice to have on my table this week. I hope you are going to love it as much as I do!
On the Chopping Block by Jenny Kales, a delightful first in series out May 2th and it has all the makings of a truly great series!
On my table early as Readaholics and the Gothic Gala is not out in August.
Always delightful to have a new series and a great cover on a book on the table, The Calamity Cafe has a great title and fun cover don't you think?
This week I have had some lovely teas on my table, this one called Monday Morning that I found and ordered on Etsy from BecauseURpriceless Etsy Shop was really a nice black tea, I found it to hit just the right spot and I even think coffee lovers would enjoy it.
Well it is almost 7:30 and I best get ready for a few yard sales before baseball. Time for a quick refill before I am off and running. My beautiful 1940's teacup I found at last weeks sales has served me well this week. It was such a great find and is truly beautiful to use. Oh the stories I bet it could tell.
Thank you for joining me for a cup of tea and a cozy mystery today for a week in review. I would love to hear from you so please leave me a comment here or email me at karenmowen@gmail.com

On My Table And In My Cup May 7-14th
Saturday morning only a 1/2 cup of tea in me yet this morning, I stayed up late as I could not put down Vicki Vass' newest series book one Gem Hunter. I will share my review with you early this week, I do believe I have a slight "book hangover" while I mull over and re play the extremely awesome book in my head for the next little while. It is hard to let a book this good be finished! Love it when that happens!
Peg Cochran's Berry The Hatchet was another lovely read, nothing like settling in feet up and book in hand.
Nancy Parra's Newlywed Dead was also on my table and one I finished, review up shortly, made Watching say yes to the dress a little more fun this week!
Starting the week with Vicki Vass and Killer Finds really set the tone for the week, such a great series and I do believe that ending the week with the first in series Gem Hunter made the week come full circle for me.
New teas on my table and in my cup this week so many wonderful flavors to review and enjoy!
It is now 7:35 and I am off to the yard sales with my sister in law before baseball today. I hope where you find yourself today you are not far away from the perfect spot, a full cup and a great cozy.
Enjoy and thank you for joining me for a cup of tea and a week in review. I look forward to sharing more tea and cozy mysteries with you again tomorrow. I would love to hear from you so please leave me a comment here or email me at karenmowen@gmail.com

New Teas On My Table From Because UR Priceless
I recently found Because UR Priceless Tea on Etsy and placed an order for one of their samplers. The Teas arrived Thursday afternoon to my delight and I quickly dove in.
Today I will share a review of one of the blends I was most excited about the Timey Wimey...Tea, an Organic black tea scented with organic orange peel and vanilla bean pieces.
I promise I did not spill a drop, this tea was refreshing, I could taste the orange peel for sure and a light hint of vanilla, this tea left me feeling like I should have ordered the large tin and I quickly brewed myself some more. I was very pleasantly surprised with this tea and thrilled to have sampled it. This was the perfect excuse to use my more then perfect teacup and saucer for the tasting!
This is a great way to go into the weekend, great books to read and tea to enjoy! To check out Because UR Priceless Etsy Shop please click here.
