Thread Reckoning A Really Enjoyable Read!

So I picked up Thread Reckoning by Amanda Lee on the advice of one of the Facebook Groups I belong to and I am so glad I did. I read this book in record time, having a hard time putting it down.
I am most admittedly a Cat person but a few months back I had this incredibly real dream where I had moved to a beach house near a light house with my family and adopted an Irish Wolfhound whom we named "Art", Imagine my surprise when the main character in the Embroidery Mystery has one just like the one from my dream! The main character Marcy also stands the same 5 feet tall I if only I could do Needle work or Embroidery I would think she was my long lost twin....
As I contemplate adding an Irish Wolfhound to the family Squirrel looks less then impressed with the idea...

I am really glad I check out The Long Stitch Good Night while I was at the library as well. I am now going to have to pick up the rest of the series and read them while I wait for Thread End to arrive from The Book Depository!
I can not wait to track down the rest of these books from my local library and will order what I can not find!

As with all my posts I would love to hear from you so please leave me a comment here or email me at

  1. Love your story about the dream. And I always look forward to a new review from you. Your photo make me want to read a book even if it's one I may not have had an interest in. But I always get hungry when I'm here! ;-)
