Happy Easter, if today is a day your family celebrates I hope you are able to find comfort and distant connection today. On Friday I had a fun idea to set up a tea party I thought my boys might enjoy, no tea just cups of chocolate and I put it all around this white charger I made for my table center piece. I used my new cricut joy and made one for myself and one for my sister, which I later delivered safely to my sister and nieces.
It took seconds to print the decal and a few more minutes for me to weed the vinyl and then transfer to the clear plastic, and then apply to the charger.
I have found it very helpful to keep my mind and hands busy creating and crafting. I hope that you also find pockets of joy this Sunday.
Thank you for joining me, I would love to hear from you so please leave me a comment here or email me at karenmowen@gmail.com

Easter Tea Time Party Favor Idea From Sewcanshe.com
Today I wanted to share a sewing tutorial from sewcanshe.com that would be perfect on your Easter Tea Table! I love these little gift bags with ears! Think of how many super cute tea bags you could place in side and lay at your guests spot at the table!
or perhaps as a center piece with one for each of your guests filled with perhaps tea and Easter candy!

Davids Tea Easter Eggs Filled With Tea! Delightful!
Last Thursday night I picked up the most adorable trio of tea tins from David's Tea. I live very close to two stores and used a gift card I was given from a very thoughtful friend to bring these Easter Beauties home for my tea table.
The tree flavors inside these tins are just under an ounce of Chocolate Macarron (a favorite black tea of mine), Forever Nuts a Herbal tea and Read My Lips (also a lovely black tea) These teas are amazing on their own and you can combine them to make some truly wonderful blends!
You can order on line at Davids Tea by clicking here or pop out to your local Davids tea and see if they have some left! I loved this set and I know the tea lover in your life will too!
Click here to see the listing on Davids Tea Website.
