Life is Tough But So Are You by Heather Stilllufsen

A few weeks ago I got a lovely treat in the mail. A great friend of mine shipped me Heather Stillufsen's latest book, Life is Tough but So Are You. This is a book that was on my wish list and when it arrived I was so thrilled to have it to hold and read. This is a short but sweet collection of inspirational thoughts and beautiful artwork. I have been a huge fan of Heather's art for years, purchasing her art cards through her Etsy shop Rosehill Design Studio.
I also follow Heather on Instagram and each day her art work is a gentle push and reminder to focus on the positive.
This book is a Blue Mountain Arts published book.  This book came out in September but was only available in Canada in October. I would love to have each book in her series on my table and in my hands.

When nothing seems to be going right, this book is here to remind you that the resilience, hope, and determination you need is right inside you. Heather Stillufsen's charming illustrations and empowering messages will help you see the rainbow in the midst of the storm and show you the way to a brighter tomorrow.

You can find this book on Amazon by clicking here.
You can find Heather's Art work in her Etsy shop as well by clicking here.

Thank you for joining me for a cup of tea and a cozy book review. I would love to hear from you so please leave me a comment here or email me at karenmowen@gmail.com

I Spun The Rack Yesterday And Her Is What I brought home...

New on my table after a trip to the Library yesterday I have 5 new to me cozies. It is a crazy busy time and while I have not yet finished reading the one on my kindle app, I have missed the feel of a good book and not needing to plug the book in is a refreshing change. I am struggling with the lack of paper backs so to remedy this a quick turn of the stand at the library yesterday and a few titles to try. I may get back to the kindle book but for now I am going to try to start a new one. thinking of trying out Kate Kingsbury's Mistletoe and Mayhem first. I love that my library has always something wonderful for me to read.

In the rush rush of the season and the day I am thrilled to have something in my bag to escape it all. I hope you get a moment to yourself today! I do believe I need to order more cards and notebooks from Rosehill Designs this woman always has the most amazing artwork and most timely pieces. Click here for her Facebook page and here for her etsy shop.
Thank you for joining me for A Cup of Tea and A Cozy Mystery.

The Quest For The Perfectly Matched Tea Strainer For My Old Country Roses Tea Set

This morning I logged on to Facebook and was so excited with a few of the posts I saw. I am a creature of habit and love my on line community. I am always so very excited to see the posts from my friends in the East who get up 3 hours before me so there is always some really great posts. This morning in addition to the wonderful post from Heather Stillufsen in the image shown above was a photo of something I did not know I had always needed and at the same time never knew excited!
Someone posted this Old Country Roses Tea Strainer and now I do believe I am on a Quest  to obtain and enjoy this amazing piece! Now where do I find it?
More in my price range however is the New Country Rose tea strainer which I can order on line and it is on sale for $19.99 you can click this link to see it. I am slightly disheartened to the lack of a handle on this one so I will not rush out to get it just yet.

I am now placing it high on my wish list of unattainable items next to the tea pot to match my Petit Point set! (roughly the same cost!) but hey a girl can dream!
Keep your eyes out for me though you never know what you may find at a tag or yard sale or thrift store! Just keep me in mind!
I hope you have a wonderful day I am off to finish my pot of tea. Thank you for joining me for A Cup of Tea a Cozy Mystery and my dream wish list!
As with all my posts I would love to hear from you so please leave me a comment here or email me at karenmowen@gmail.com
