On My Table And In My Cup September 5th To The 12th

Please forgive my later then normal posting. Last night I was in the hospital with my dad who needed emergency blood transfusions. He is now home resting as we await more tests to find out why the transfusion was needed. I am thankful to anyone who has ever donated blood, because someone out there saved my dads life yesterday.
Yesterday was also September 11th so on my table I placed the American Flag and I choose to remember and honor not just the victims and those of us still effected by the events of September 2001 but also those who were there to help and who are still helping today. Not a day I shall soon forget.
I finished Book for Trouble, Then I waited for the mail man all last week and met my New To Me Mail Man named Sasha who told me he is now taking over the route and it takes him 12 hours to deliver the mail, all these changes that are supposed to be saving money are actually leading to his over time and his $50 an hour wage, yet I only got mail once this week... I digress!
In my other writing I love to write and share about doll play and I was sent these two books to review and I am excited to give them a try! If you have a doll lover in your life and you are good with a hook, come join me while I give these a try! For Holiday Hats Click Here and for Animal Hats Click Here.
Cozy Mystery Short Story Bundle Happy Homicides graced my table and my Ipad this week. This 800 page cozy bundle will be available to pre order starting on the 15th of this month and releases October 15th!
Some wonderful writers are involved in this project and just look at those cozy socks and kitty! So far the stories are cozy and heart warming and something you are going to love having to read!

This week I am so happy to have had such wonderful luck, such fantastic friends and a special delivery or two. My friend and neighbor Jen brought me stunning roses from her garden and this little tea guy her husband ordered for both of us. I am truly thankful for all the wonderful gifts life has given me and for all of you who stop by to join me for A Cup of Tea and A Cozy Mystery. I would love to hear from you so please leave me a comment here or email me at karenmowen@gmail.com

  1. Hi Karen! I'm a big fan of yours. I love cozy mysteries, tea and cats. I am also a gardener, but I'm getting older and I am limiting most of my gardening to containers on my deck. I live in Lilburn GA, which is really o suburb of Atlanta. So glad fall is almost here. It is actually a little chilly today. Keep up the good work. You are a breath of fresh air!
