Tea Musings & Greetings

Good morning, I am not at my table today I am actually away for the weekend with my husband and enjoying a bunch of new teas! Even in July when the temperature is in the 90+'s as it is here I have at least two pots of tea a day.

Last week I was surprised by my friend Anna D who brought me a new Harney & Son's tea tin of their Paris blend, a great bag (which I am using as a purse this weekend) and a fun mug!
I have actually had about 6 tea bags now from this tin and can recommend this one  it has some fruity undertones with a hint of vanilla and I very much enjoyed it.
We visited Leavenworth Washington this weekend, and what a cool place this is. Scenic and picturesque naturally and then you come into this very charming small town that you can tell is the perfect setting for a cozy mystery! I quickly found the bookstore, hat shop (note the Maddie Hatter inspired find! ) Spent way too much money at their Christmas store, got some amazing fudge, just outside of town and picked up two teas I can not wait to try and share with you at the very new tea shop that just opened. On our way home shortly and this is a great day trip to take from where we live and is stunning in the Winter with the snow and quaint as can be in the summer! I can only imagine Octoberfest in this Bavarian inspired tiny town...oh and the Schnitzel and Red Cabbage was out of this world!
Thank you for coming along with me on this Sunday on a virtual mini vacation and a great cup of tea. I look forward to sharing more with you tomorrow. I would love to hear from you so please leave me a comment here or email me at karenmowen@gmail.com
